Been sooo long! Thanks to SSD and others who dropped by! Apologizes for not writing sooner. The reason for absence: Tablet got a virus [her PC's name], so it's been down for a while, which limits the blogger's access to the internet...Oh Lord come to her rescue!!! This post is going to be short, as the public library only gives a certain amount of time for each session! So would refer you to this post, found it pretty interesting...What you think?
Regards! Take care of YOU!!!

What Holds D Authenticity Of My Faith...
I used to believe that everything had its timing.
It was ok, not to be 'conventional':
As long as you were ready for the change when it happened.
Matured enough to understand the significance of the change in one's life:
Responsible enough to accept this change and run with it.
It was ok, to not be in a relationship when others wanted you to be.
It was ok, that people thought you 'weird' when they assumed you were 'non-heterosexual' because you hadn't started dating, just yet:
BUT, you opt to go into a relationship when your mind was matured enough to work and build your relationship.
It's your life, yet, it ticks on their clock!
With eveything so 'conventional' you wondered:
What was left of the value of life (society) you cherished so much?
The pressures saw you drifting unto a different path.
Then you took the time to search within yourself...
Where lies the foundation of my persona?
What holds the authenticity of my faith?
That's it lovely readers! Hope to catch you around sometime...soon! Gracias!!!

Father's Day!
Happy Father's day to all fathers, dads, soon-to be dads!!! This is a journey taken, with faith in every child you have the privilege of caring for. To both spiritual and biological Fathers...it's a time to re-evaluate your relationships with your children. If there be need for improvements, His grace has been made sufficient. Being able to celebrate this day indicates that. Every child deserves a father. Every father deserves respect. The respect is earned, not only by being a biological father but also when your child acknowledges you as [his/her] father. A child can have many father figures, BUT no one can equate a child's Father.
Here's to a Happy Father's Day... "Dance With My Father Again" by Luther Vandross. Enjoy!
"To feel you have no father, is to believe you have lost a significant part of you." Do not let this be the fate of our children. Thanks for being here! Take care ya'll!

Poem: Reflection Afloat.
Hi everyone! How did your week go? It's real good to be back. She was contemplating what write-up to put up. As she already had something else prepared. But this poem came along, and she decided to post it. She hopes as you read it, it would make sense to you. Hope it has some meaning for you. As you go about the weekend, have a blast!
Reflection Afloat.
I happen to see a dead man afloat the river.
The dead man had a reflection of me. Me? Yes me!
A side of me I always knew about,
seemingly come to terms with but refuse to do anything about.
It had become a part of me.
A part, though I detest of, I cleave to so readily.
Cleave to because it provides me the satisfaction of staying within my comfort zone.
Hmm! I begin to wonder...
Why my body must stand in the way of my soul's progress.
The fight between my body and soul is so unique,
The laws of copyright can't withhold it's originality.
Yet it is with much joy that I watch my obstacles and hindrances afloat like a dead man with no life, after drowning.
Thus my reflection indicates the dead man afloat is ME!
That's it people. Enjoy the weekend! Merci.

Mothers- A Blessing!
It's been a month. What's the verdict? As we all know it's mother's Day in Canada, as well as a number of other countries in the world- most especially in North America. You are probably already aware that it varies around the world, i.e; the dates we celebrate Mother's Day. Happy Mother's Day to all our loving mothers, including expectant mothers. As they say, 'it's a day to honor mothers and motherhood'. So below is a little piece for the Virtuous woman I call my Mother. Notwithstanding, it speaks to all mothers who have worked hard, prayed and encouraged us through our journey in this world.
My Esteemed Jewel.
I am the bone of her bone, the one by which I was birth forth.
I am the bone of her bone, the one by which I was birth forth.
The one that Christ gave the strength and grace to train me in the "way of the Lord".
In her womb I was conceived, In her womb I was sheltered for 9 months .
I am not with her 24/7, 365days/yr, but through her instinct[s] she knows when am down.
Her discerning spirit- I thank God for.
Her loyalty and dedication makes the difference,
Helps her set her priorities right.
Her service to God, builds my faith in Him.
His grace made sufficient for her; Makes me withstand the days of trials.
Indeed you are a Blessing. You are my Esteemed Jewel- Mum!
Merci! Do have a fabulous week! She is excited. With God's grace we are back to blogging frequently.

His The Reason 4 D Season- Easter!
For we the believers and we the unbelievers, for those of us who are on the road to redemption and for those who are about taking the path to redemption, we say Happy Easter! It's great to know someone died for us on the Cross of Calvary for the atonement of our sins and for the redemption of our souls. How great His faithfulness. We hope everyone had a lovely weekend. Oh yes! Not that we forgot but we were suppose to change the layout of the blog. However, in trying to change the layout, sometimes we encountered difficulties.
There were times it was hard changing because we are so use to this layout, no layout seemed good enough. You know when you have something you have gotten use to, it sometimes is hard to let go or allow change. Also even though no post was written on the blog during the break, mentally she was always writing posts,or once in a while would scribble something on paper. Didn't realize she was attached to this blog. Readers like SD, Ladyguide have in their own way [unconsciously] encouraged the continuiation of this wonderful blog.
A blog aimed @ making a difference, positive difference, in our reader's lives. Happy Easter to all you wonderful people out there. Have a splendid week ahead! It's good to be back!!!

A Reminder- Message...

Abuse, any type of abuse affects one's esteem, one's views on life and one's relationships- your relations with other people. Whether consciously or unconsciously...the bitter truth is it does! Let's come together and help those who need our help. With this technology age, information and resources are not far from us. As individuals lets come together to make a collective effort. Would expatiate on the issue of abuse on another post. This post is just to let you know that we should give support to those who need it. And for those going through abuse, you don't have to...sometimes the expected thing is to withdraw, even from your loved ones...BUT! That does not help, it doesn't help with the process or stages of healing. As you go in the new week, here is a song for you, click here.
Merci!
