Bullying- A Form of Physical Assault.

Hows it going? Been awhile, she apologizes for taking such a great amount of time in updating. Bullying has been in existence since man? For a very long time if you know what she means. For those who have been bullied, you can relate better. Bullying doesn't just happen and once it's done, the victim gets over it. Bullying as we all know has a lasting effect. In some [if not majority of the cases], the victim becomes bitter; Where this bitterness could grow into hatred and revenge takes its toll. Ever taken the time to ponder why some teenagers or some youths are so bitter? If you haven't, don't you think it's about time you consider it seriously. For we who have considered it, have we done anything to help? It's our responsibility to help! Even the least of persons we never expected [our closest friends, siblings or relations] could be battling this oppression and bitterness. How is it our responsibility?

When we know the root of problems or issues encountered in our environment, it's much easier to tackle it. Bitterness destroys, and most often destroys in cycles. Have you been to elementary school, high school or even college then you obviously know what it means to be bullied. Bullying occurs in any setting where we humans interact with each other. You might not have experienced bullying doesn't mean you are not aware that it does exist. Bullying is a form of harrasment used to show dominance over ones victim, it is intentionally causing unhappiness or harm to others. In most cases, the victims don't retaliate immediately. When they do, it could be a form of revenge taken out on the society.

Sitting back now, she reflects on her days in Grade 6, when she use to be bullied at school, she would be told to bring money to school, if she failed she knew what to expect when she got to school the next day. She never told anyone, maybe [afraid] that it would only get worse once her oppressors found out they had been exposed. She would be shoved amongst her oppressors, beaten and she got her hair pulled at. Kinda of funny to remember, but then it wasn't funny. If you have been bullied before, talking about it might be embarrassing but it helps a lot. No one deserves to be oppressed. It's time to say NO! to being oppressed.
